Brunch or Daytime Date Outfit!

This outfit is a great option for the day time, whether it's having brunch with the girls, or a date with a loved one. It includes all of the latest trends, such as wedges, pastels, and the color rose gold.

To start off, I paired cute light pink skinny jeans, with a criss-cross black and white striped crop top. Then for the shoes, I went with cute, black, summery wedges. For the accessories, I added a rose gold Michael Kors watch, rose gold diamond earrings, and a light pink, rose-gold brimmed clutch. For the finishing touch I decided to add the NYX mega shine lip gloss in LA~LA~, a shimmery neutral pink.

Running Late - Quick and Easy Look

You've slept in, and you have 5 minutes to get ready. Here is a quick makeup look, hairstyle,  and outfit, that will still make you look put together.

Step 1: Apply BB or CC Cream
This is pretty much a light coverage foundation, that will even out your skin tone, and can easily be blended without a brush, but with your fingers.

Dream Fresh BB Cream by Maybelline (comes in 5 different shades)

Step 2: Apply Mascara
Apply your favorite lengthening mascara. Make sure you work well in the root, so it looks like you're wearing eye liner when you aren't.

Colossal Volume Express Mascara by Maybelline

Step 3: Apply a Blush and Cheek Stain
Bring some color into your face with some pink blush, and use the same product for your lips. A blush and cheek stain is quick, and you get a lot of use out of them.

Step 4: Change into your outfit
Here is a springy, summery outfit that is easy to put together. For this outfit, I started off with a black shirt tucked into orange flowy shorts with silver detailing. Then I added a cute grey knitted cardigan just in case it got cold. To finish off the entire look, I added grey supergas and gold bangles.

Step 5: Do you hair!
Start off by putting your hair into a ponytail. Then, make a hole right over your hair tie and pull your hair into it, to create a simple twist. This unique hairstyle is quick and easy, but looks like it took a lot of  time and effort.

Then, you're done! This cute and easy look will wow your friends, even if you spent five minutes on it. ☆

Essie Nail Polish Colors

Here are my favorite spring nail colors from my favorite nail polish brand: Essie. These are all cute and pastel colors, that are on trend this season. All the Essie nail polishes shown below, are sold for $8.50 on their website.

The first color is called "Ballet Slippers", and it is the featured Essie nail polish color of April 2014. It is a "your nails but better" kind of color, that is perfect to pair with a white to create a chic French Manicure. It could also be worn alone, to give your nails a hint of color. It does have a sheer finish, so what it does, is perfects your nail color, while letting it still peek through.

The next color, is called "Lapiz of Luxury".  It is the perfect spring periwinkle color. A cute way to paint your nails with this color, is to paint all of your nails this color except your ring finger, and put an accent color on it. I think a shimmery silver would pair perfectly with this color. This polish color, can also serve as the perfect pedicure, to show off your new sandals. This color is especially perfect for the beach, because it is a dreamy color that reminds you of the ocean.

This next color is very popular, and is called "Mint Candy Apple". It is a cute, mint-green nail polish, and a great pastel color for the spring. One way to style your nails with this polish, is to first paint all of your nails with this color, except your ring finger. Then, for your ring finger, add a darker green, such as Essie's "Shake Your $$ Maker". This will be a great combo to wear. Also, you can try some fun color blocking with different shades of this color.

This next color, is "Resort Fling", and it is a cute peachy-coral color. It is a perfect subtle but cute color for spring. This can go with many outfits, because it is such a versatile color. This color is perfect to pair with a baby blue for a soft look, or a shimmery gold, to create a beachy-bronze nail look.

This color, is called "Style Hunter", and is an adorable color, that is perfect for transitioning into spring and summer, and to celebrate the warmer season. It is very bright, so if you are tanned, it really gives your nails a bright pop! It is a cute strawberry color, and you can definitely experiment, and pair this with different colors. This color is very playful, and it is from one of Essie's new collections.

This final color, "Under Where?", is a pastel lilac color. Orchid colors are very in trend this season, so this is the perfect color to wear. It is a subtle color, and is very calming. What I would do with this color, is pair it with a slightly darker purple, then a deep purple, and color block on my nails. Also, another option is to pair this with a yellow, and wear it for Easter. This is definitely another color that your can experiment with.

So, those were all of my favorite trendy spring nail polish colors, all from Essie. I love the color selection of the Essie nail polishes, and the formulas of them are perfect. To check out these colors, and other ones, check out their website: http://www.essie.com/Colors.aspx

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I will try to get a new post up soon. :)

All Things Mint Tag!

One of my favorite colors right now, especially for spring, is mint green, also known as sea foam green.  Here are some things that are mint green that I am loving.

Here is a mint green cedar street magnolia cross body bag from Kate Spade. It is a little darker than most mint green shades. I also like purses, and other hand bags that are mint green and from Kate Spade. This bag is sold on their website for $198.00.

I also love mint green nails. I especially love these nails, because there is an accent nail with cool texture on it. My personal favorite mint green nail polish, is mint candy apple by Essie.

My next mint green favorites, are these ballet flats from Tieks. I love the color combination of the mint green with a darker turquoise. The best thing about the Tieks flats, are that they are foldable, and become very compact. These are perfect to put into your purse, or even clutch, and slip them on when needed.

I also love mint green Lu Lu Lemon headbands. Lu Lu Lemon headbands are great quality, and have grips on them. This fly away tamer headband, is sold for $12.00.

I also am obsessed with these mint green bow wedges. They are comfy material, and have cute bows on the front of them. Wedges are a great, more comfortable option for wearing heels, and are still super adorable. These Koi Couture Ladies Hr110 Mint Green Bow Wedges are sold online at designerwear.co.uk, for 27.99 euros.

I also like to make cucumber and mint facial masks. These two combined make a fresh, and face-awakening mask, that livens the skin.

So these are all of the things that I love, that are mint green.
Stay tuned for more posts! (The next post will be on Essie Nail Polish colors!) ♡

Favorite Beauty Youtubers

Right now, I am subscribed to a few youtubers that solely focus on makeup and nothing else. They are dedicated and have jobs in the cosmetic world. Here they are:

The first one is Michelle Phan. If you haven't heard of her, you are crazy! She currently has over 5.8 million followers on youtube. She is famous for making her beauty videos.

This is her channel. She makes tutorials, personal videos, and talks about her cosmetic line. She has become very successful from youtube. She created fawn, (for all women network), and ipsy, which is a program where if you sign up and pay, you get a glam bag filled with makeup goodies inside, each month, and she even created her own cosmetic line with L'oreal, EM Cosmetics.

The next person is Francesca, and her youtube name is cescadarling. She is an actual makeup artist, and makes favorites videos, acne blogs, and best of all, her amazing makeup tutorials. She is also really funny.

The next one is Sephora. On their channel, they have many tutorial videos, using a variety of different products, from different brands.

This next guru has a youtube channel called makeupbyalli. She has a variety of different makeup tutorials, and does monthly favorites.

Here is another makeup guru, that has the channel name of 'dope211'. However, her videos are different from the ones I mentioned so far. Instead of doing everyday makeup tutorials, she transforms herself into a celebrity, or something else, with makeup. She has transformed into Drake, Demi Lovato, Iron Man, and many more! A fun fact is that she is actually married to Michelle Phan's brother (the first youtuber listed).

DIY Lip Scrub

You've probably heard of the lush lip scrubs by now. They are very popular and come in different flavors, and are even edible! But, they are pretty expensive. They are $9.95, and are very small as shown below. So sometimes I like to make my own lip scrub! Even though this is not edible, it really works well.

For the ingredients, you will need:

Vaseline (the type with the petroleum jelly)

Sugar (the one that you have at your house is fine)

Procedures and Application:

1. Mix the two ingredients together - depending on how much lip scrub you are making, the amount of each ingredient will vary. However, make sure you have about half and half of each ingredient, or a little more of Vaseline than sugar, but it shouldn't be a big difference in amount.

2. Apply this to your lips - the sugar beads are very important. They are the ones that work into your lips to take off any dead skin cells on them.

3. Wash the lip scrub off after you have had it on for a while.

4. Apply your favorite lip balm, or moisturizer.

5. Repeat every two weeks or so.

Now, you're done with your simple DIY lip scrub. It has the same texture as the Lush ones, but are a lot cheaper! And, it is super fun and easy to make.
Hope you try this DIY Lip Scrub out! Enjoy ☆

Esperanza Eyeshadow Palette - Kat Von D

I've definitely heard about the Kat Von D tattoo liquid eyeliners, but I've never heard of any of their eyeshadow palettes. However, while browsing through Sephora's website, the new Esperanza Eyeshadow Palette from Kat Von D caught my eye. Besides the gorgeous packaging, the unique colors were really the winners for me. This is a fun palette, with some colors that you wouldn't normally use. It is very diverse, and can create different, fun looks.

Here is the amazing packaging. It is very fun, colorful, and eye-catching!

Here are all of the colors. There are eight in all.

This first color is a super shimmery purple color called Selena. This color is not too dark, and not too light. It is the perfect middle, and has an extra shimmer to it, which is a great plus. It's perfect to use for a party, when you want to try an alternative look instead of your usual black smokey eye, and want a more fun, youthful look. However, many reviews on Sephora said that this color has a bit of fallout.

The next color, is called dayglo, and it is a beautiful shimmery vanilla color when you look at it in the palette. However, since it is a transformer shade, when you apply it onto your lids, it turns out to have a nice slight green tint to it. This is perfect as a base color, or even for highlighting the inner corners and brow bone.

The next color is called galore, and when placed on the lid, it is light pink with a gold tint to it. It is very similar to the color rose gold, and it has a nice pearly finish to it.  I think this is a stunning color to apply to the lid, with a darker color blended in the outer v.

The next color is called placebo, and it is a bright coral color, that has very nice pigmentation when applied to the lid. This is a perfect color for the spring and summer, and it's great if you want to have a pop of color in your makeup looks. Instead of going bright pink with your blush, try going bright pink with your eyeshadow!  It is overall a fun color to try out.

This next color is a greenish grey with a hint of blue, and it is called Santeria. It is also a very shimmery color. I think this color is perfect for a dark smokey eye. It is very unique because it has a green tint, but will still help achieve an intense look, which is what a smokey eye is supposed to create.

The next shade is one of the shades that I am most excited about. It is called archangel, and is a cool, minty green, light blue shade. It is a fun shade to use, and could go on the lower lash line with the color Santeria, which is right above. This might be a new color for many people, but I think they will enjoy this color, because you don't see it much as an eyeshadow color.

The next color south, is a pinkish beige, and isn't really visible on the eyelids. That is why it's a good shade to use as a base, to cover up any veins or redness on the eyes.

The final color is a shimmery bronze, and it is called dog roses. This color would be great in the outer v, with the color galore (the third color we looked at). It can also go with any light shimmery gold based color, especially rose golds. It is a nicely pigmented shadow color.

Overall, this is a nice sized palette that would serve as a great present. Right now, it is priced at 36 dollars on the Sephora website. The packaging and color combination in this palette, is really what makes this palette unique and worth owning.

Birthday Wishlist

Even though my birthday is not so soon, I like to think early about what I'd like to get for it. Read below to see the things that I want to get for my B-day! I hope you get an idea for what you would like to get on your birthday, and enjoy! ♡ (Btw, these are not in any specific order)

1. Shoes

The first pair of shoes that I really want are plain white converse.

White converse are super simple and comfy, but look cute with pretty much any outfit.

The next pair of shoes that I want are black patent leather doc martens.

Black patent leather doc martens are another pair of universal shoes, and they are super adorable, and make outfits more edgy, especially with the pretty, polished sheen.

2. Gift Cards
I love to go shopping and I love to get new clothes. When I get a gift card, I am always happy, because I get to choose the items that I buy, and get them in the perfect size.

I would like to get a dELia*s gift card, because they have the most adorable graphic tees and accessories.

I would like to get an Aeropostale gift card, so I could buy things from the adorable Bethany Mota collection.

A Brandy Melville gift card, because I love their accessories.

A Sephora gift card, because I love all of their makeup, and how they sell so many different brands.

3. A Wallet
My wallet is so old, and I really need a new one. This a kate spade one.

This is the Cherry Lane Lacey Wallet in Dark Geranium.

Urban Decay Smoked Eyeshadow Palette

Urban Decay has some best selling eyeshadow products, including their Naked Palettes, and their primer potion. I was rummaging through their website to look for cool eyeshadow products, and came across this one. I had heard of it maybe one time, but it isn't very popular. That is why I wanted to go over all of the beautiful colors, and the things included in the palette.

The Smoked Eyeshadow Palette comes in a zipper case, which is pretty unique for an eyeshadow palette, and comes with a mirror. It also includes a travel-size eyeshadow primer potion, and a 24/7 Glide-on eye pencil in a black color called Perversion, which fits in the palette. There are 10 eyeshadow colors in all.

Here are all of the colors.

The first color is called Kinky, and it's a neutral beige color. This is a good base color, to cover up any veins on the eye. It is also matte. It can also be used as a highlight for the inner tear duct or the brow bone.

The next color is called Freestyle. It is a matte, soft, peachy color. This is is a good color to use on the lid for a simple eye look.

The next color is called Mushroom, and is a beautiful gun metal color, but it almost looks kind of purpely. It is a shimmery silver, that is also a great lid color, when you're going to a special event, such as a party.

This color is called Backdoor, and it's a matte chocolate color. It is great for defining the crease, or for putting on the outer-v of the eye and blending, for a brown smokey eye.

This next color is called Blackout, and it is a matte black. It is the perfect color for a black smokey eye, or you can even use it to line your lash line.

Barlust is a nice, dark, oatmeal/bronzey color. It is great for defining the crease or blending in the outer-v. It has similar uses to Backdoor, but it is just a little lighter.

Rockstar is a cute purple plum color, that is jewel-toned. It is gorgeous to do a purple smokey eye with, because it is pretty dark. It can also be applied simply on the lid.

Evidence is a great pop of blue. It is also jewel-toned, and is a really pigmented, beautiful color. It is great to do a fun look with, and can be put on the lower lash line, the lid, the outer-v, etc. It can be placed pretty much anywhere, as a fun color to create a fresh look.

The next color, called Loaded, is a beautiful dark, forest green. It is very pigmented and jewel-toned as well. It is really nice, and a fun color like Evidence. Similar to Evidence, you can add it to the lower lash line, the lid, or anywhere to create a fun look. Especially when paired with a purple color like rockstar, it looks amazing. It can also be used to create a green smokey eye.

The final color is called Asphalt, and it is another silver color like Mushroom, but it's a little darker. It is better to create a darker silver smokey eye, and is also good for lining the lower lash line. It is a beautiful color.

I really enjoy the diversity of this palette, and the gorgeous, pigmented, darker colors. It is perfect to create any kind of dark smokey eye, and comes with an eye pencil and eye primer, which is pretty much everything you need to create an amazing eye look. It is 49 dollars on the Urban Decay website, and for the 10 eye shadow colors, the travel-size primer potion, the glide-on eye pencil, and the quality and pigmentation of the shadows, it is a fair price. I really see myself getting my hands on this palette in the future.
